Exploration In Technology class is designed to allow each student to experience many of the new technologies that affect everyday of their life. Learning modules have been developed to allow them to explore robots, lasers, radio computer-controlled machines and other hi-tech equipment.

An important part of Exploration in Technology involves the application of skills they have developed in other classes. These skills include reading, writing, math, and science. Emphasis is placed on application of those skills as well as hands on experiences. In Explorations in Technology they will learn how all of these skills can be applied to everyday situations.

Exploartions in Technology II is designed for students that have completed E exploration in Technology in 7th grade. Students will explore some to the modules that they did not explore in 7th grade. Students rotate thorough different module topics spending seven 42 minute sessions in each module.

Each student will go thorough the design process when designing a Styrofoam prototype,design a CO'2 cars, water rocket, and another project. Safety rules and safety tests will be given over machines used in classes.
